Due to the covid-19 pandemic, Online learning technique has come in trend in almost every field. Going global is the need of the hour, when the whole world was facing the stress of lockdown and paused life cycle, creative minds came up with an innovative idea of online learning.

Let’s face it, the educational policies were going all numb due to the unattentive life cycles of each and every single person across the world during this pandemic.

During those tough times, going digital was the only option left. But professional online learning can surely be considered as a pace of the future, many educational institutes discovered that students are performing in a more constructive manner since they came in the preference of digital learning.

E-Learning: The need of the Hour

Reopening schools and other educational institutes is still something to give a second thought to. Thus, we need to continue with this conventional method of learning in the future too. Many parents are worried if their child would be able to cope up with the negative impacts of e-learning or not. Well, it is truly something to think about.

The fundamentals of learning are moving in the right direction with online teaching and learning programs, students can easily receive information via learning platforms or mail. Teachers keep in touch with the students for successive doubt sessions and queries to be resolved immediately.

The continuation of schools at online platforms is a relief for parents who were worried about the schooling and learning of children. In these times of uncertainty, interactive online learning is all that is needed to grow and nourish a better future in this globalized world.

Impact of Online Classes on students: With e-learning comes a responsibility for parents to pay special attention to their kids’ lifestyle, concentration, and discipline.

ecadema introduces Interactive online learning material that involves sessions with the teachers for doubt clearance and cooperative Q&As.

Loss of motivation and a sense of self-discipline are the main struggles faced by students in online learning. Learning in a school classroom provides an effective environment to students and inspires them to learn and grow in an obligated yet friendly manner which lacks in home learning. With online learning programs, it is very difficult to maintain the concentration all time, the struggle to complete assignments and worksheets take a low pace which is quite acceptable as even peers can’t be available with their children every time they are near their learning process.

Moreover, the interaction of students and their peers is essential to keep the development cycle on go right track. Similarly, when a classroom study proceeds, it includes sharing of thoughts, ideas, and skills among students. This aids in developing skills like setting boundaries, learning cooperation, and empathy which plays an important role in relationship building and skill development.

Overcoming the Limitations

The online learning platform is a great means to keep things moving on the right track. A few steps had to be taken by the side of students, teachers, and parents too to maintain the healthy decorum of learning and development.

  • The syllabus has to be made very clear along with the availability of assignments, worksheets and projects priorly to avoid the disturbance by the side of organizations.

  • Parents must keep a regular check on what their children are grasping from learning methods.

  • Time tables should be made and make come in action with children for their betterment.

  • Regular updates must be given to the parents about the performance of students.

  • Virtual parent-teacher meetings must be conducted to maintain a healthy and interactive relationship.

  • Students must stick to their routine if they wish to excel in their curriculum.

  • Online professional trainers should be introduced for the curriculum for qualitative learning.

The above mentioned were the impacts of online learning on student performance and methods to lessen the else effects.
